Shipping policy
<h2><strong>The Hall of Pickleball — Shipping Policy</strong></h2>
<p><em>Drafted with the assistance of counsel. Read at your leisure.</em></p>
<p>You have placed an order. It must now reach you. The following addresses what that costs,
how long it takes, and what to do should the matter prove complicated. This policy applies to
orders placed within the <strong>United States</strong>.</p>

<h3><strong>A. Shipping Costs</strong></h3>
<p>We offer <strong>free standard shipping on all orders over $50</strong>. Orders under $50
may be subject to a <strong>flat-rate shipping fee</strong> based on your location and order
size. The amount is shown at checkout before you commit. There are no hidden additions.</p>

<h3><strong>B. Handling & Transit Time</strong></h3>
<p>We are <strong>print-on-demand</strong>, which is to say nothing sits on a shelf. Your
order is made after you place it. Allow time accordingly:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Order Processing Time:</strong> 2–5 business days</li>
<li><strong>Estimated Delivery Time:</strong> 5–10 business days after processing</li>
<li><strong>Order Cut-Off Time:</strong> 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday</li>
<li>Orders placed after the cut-off are processed the next business day</li>
</ul>
<p><em>A note: handling and transit times may vary depending on your location and the print
provider fulfilling your order (Printful, Gelato, Printify, among others). We do not control
their machines, though we converse with them when necessary.</em></p>

<h3><strong>C. Delivery Methods</strong></h3>
<p>We partner with a variety of carriers — <strong>USPS, UPS, and DHL</strong> — selected
based on your location and the product being shipped.</p>

<h3><strong>D. Address Changes</strong></h3>
<p>If you need to update your shipping address, contact us <strong>within 24 hours</strong> of
placing your order. Once an order is in transit, <strong>we cannot make changes to the
delivery address</strong>. The truck, as the saying goes, has departed.</p>

<h3><strong>E. Order Tracking</strong></h3>
<p>Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a <strong>tracking
number</strong> so that you may monitor the delivery yourself.</p>

<h3><strong>F. Order Cancellations</strong></h3>
<p>You may cancel your order <strong>any time before it has been processed</strong>. Once your
order has been sent to production or shipped, <strong>it can no longer be canceled</strong>.
To request a cancellation, write to us as soon as possible at
<strong>shipping@HallofPickleball.org</strong>. Sooner is better.</p>

<h3><strong>G. Damaged or Lost Packages</strong></h3>
<p>If your item is damaged in transit, or it never arrives at all, please <strong>contact us
immediately</strong>. We will send a replacement or otherwise resolve the matter.</p>
<p><em>By way of illustration: I once had a client — this would have been around 2017 — who
sold antique fishing lures by mail. A package of his went missing for six weeks. It surfaced
eventually in a warehouse in Tulsa, with no explanation offered. He had already mailed the
replacement. The customer kept both. He permitted it. The principle is straightforward: if the
package does not arrive, tell us. We make it right.</em></p>
